ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 BRIGHTON & HOVE (SPEED LIMIT)
CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2016 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.* 201* (REF: TRO-28-2022)
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ('the Council') proposes to make the Order named above under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which if it comes into force will change the speed limit on Wilson Avenue. From Warren Road to a point approximately 64 metres north of Vines Cross Road the speed limit will be 40 mph. The rest of the length of Wilson Avenue (southwards to Roedean Road) the road will be restricted to the national speed limit of 30mph (by presence of street lights). A copy of this Notice, the proposed Order, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be seen online at
