Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Rowlands Road, Summerseat, Bury) Temporary Closure Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-

Rowlands Rd, Summerseat, Bury - from a point 115 m east of the easterly kerbline of Ashborne Dr for a distance of 100 m in a south-easterly direction

The reason for the proposed order is to locate & rebuild chambers. The alternative route will be via Bass Lane & Walmersley Rd and vice-versa.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Saturday 03 September 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 day. Dated 25 August 2022 Council Solicitor

Temporary Closure Order 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-Normandy Crescent, Radcliffe - Temp Rd Closure. The closure is in place to enable electricity works in carriageway. Diversion route is non-applicable.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

No Waiting At Any Time
Marsden Walk/Unsworth Street, Radcliffe

Unsworth St, Radcliffe
East side from a point 10m north of the northerly kerbline of Marsden Walk to a point 10m south of the southerly kerbline of Marsden Walk

Marsden Walk, Radcliffe
Both sides from the easterly kerbline of Unsworth Street for a distance of 10m in a north easterly direction
A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 25/08/2022 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0EJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 25/08/22 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
