Cheshire West And Chester Borough Council Traffic Regulation Order (Hawthorn Road, Holly Road And Poplar Road, Chester) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that on 23 August Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will come into operation on 26 August 2022. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting on the following lengths of road:


* Hawthorn Road (north west side) - (i) from a point


22.5 metres south-west of the centre-line of Poplar Road to a point 21.5 metres north-east of the centre line of Poplar Road; and (ii) from a point 15 metres south-west of the centre line of Holly Road to a point 15 metres north-east of the centre-line of Holly Road.
* Holly Road (both sides) - from its junction with Hawthorn Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.


* Poplar Road (both sides) - from its junction with Hawthorn Road for a distance of 13 metres in a north westerly direction.


Any person who desires to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision therein on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from 23 August 2022 make application to the High Court for this purpose.


(Cliveden Road, Chester) (Disabled Persons Parking Place) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a disabled persons parking bay on Cliveden Road, Chester (south-east side) from a point 1 metre north-east of the boundary of numbers 42 and 44 Cliveden Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in a north-easterly direction. Full details of the proposed restrictions are in the draft Orders which, together with plans showing the extents of the proposals, may be examined at the Council Offices, HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.


All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 16 September 2022 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.


(Whipcord Lane and South View Road Chester) (Disabled Persons Parking Place And Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to: Introduce a disabled persons parking place on Whipcord Lane, Chester (south west side) from a point 15 metres south-east of the centre line of Gladstone Avenue for a distance of 6.6 metres in an south-easterly direction. Introduce no waiting 8a.m.-6p.m. Monday-Saturday on South View Road, Chester (north side) from a point 37 metres east of the junction with Sealand Road for a distance of 6.6 metres in an easterly direction on South View Road, Chester Full details of the proposed restrictions are in the draft Orders which, together with plans showing the extents of the proposals, may be examined at the Council Offices, HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
