Shopshire Boundary East, Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A456 From C1054 To Shropshire Boundary East, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30 MPH on the following road, A456 From C1054 To Shropshire Boundary, from the junction of Bleathwood to the Shropshire Boundary.

The said restriction is required due to slowing of traffic whilst construction traffic enters and exits treatment works off the highway, are undertaken and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 5th September 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 19 days.
