(Sutton Street, Durham) (Temporary Road and Footway Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on 75 metres of Sutton Street, Durham, between the junction of Flass Street, and the A690 junction to enable Railway bridge repairs works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from the north side of the closure, north/north-east on Sutton Street, south-east on North Road, and south on the A690, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 16/9/22 from 9pm to 6am and are anticipated to be completed in 1 night. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Dated: 25th August 2022
