1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate the staging of a Street event, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Ashfield Parade, N14) (Special Event) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce the following restrictions between 7am and 9pm on 28 August 2022 as detailed in the schedule to this notice:

3. The Order provides that the restrictions will not apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the participation of the event;

(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency; or

(c) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

4. Whilst the prohibitions are in force the diversion routes will as stated in the schedule below
