Oxford Road EN3 - Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Oxford Road EN3, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Oxford Road EN3) (No.2) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic;

(i) from entering or proceeding on Oxford Road at its junction with Lincoln Road EN3 for a distance of approximately 20m southwards; and

(ii) from waiting & loading on both sides of the carriageway on Oxford Road EN3 from its junction with Lincoln Road EN3 for a distance of approximately 20 metres southwards, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions will come into operation on 26 August 2022 and will continue in force for 1 day or until works are completed.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route will be via:

? Lincoln Road, Norfolk Road, Northfield Road, Oxford Road; or

? Lincoln Road Suffolk Road Northfield Road and Oxford Road.
