The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) extend the length of an existing shared use: permit holders or pay and display parking place on the south east side of Maple Road, Penge located outside Nos. 144 to 156 Maple Road to be extended outside Nos. 134 to 156 Maple Road;

(b) reduce the length of an existing shared use: permit holders or pay and display parking place on the north west side of Maple Road, Penge located opposite Nos. 146 to 166 Maple Road to opposite Nos. 146 to 156 Maple Road and replace it with waiting restrictions operation at zone hours.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be made available by emailing traffic@bromley.gov.uk  during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/ RP/T100/723 not later than 14th September 2022.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
