(Stadhampton - Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, as a result of adjacent residential development is to extend the previously proposed 20mph speed limit in Chalgrove, to include the entire length of Oxford Way running north-westwards from High Street to the junction with the B480, as well as all joining roads. Additionally, the roads located within the 'Chalgrove Meadow' development at the eastern edge of the village are confirmed as also being covered by the 20mph speed limit. As previously consulted, the roads lying to the north of the B480 in the vicinity of the airfield & Monument Park will remain 30mph as existing after considering the current road environment & traffic usage.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Stadhampton - Chalgrove Areas) (Speed Limits) Order 2020 will be revoked/replaced as necessary

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 16 September 2022.
