Temporary Closure And Restriction Of Various Roads (Various Parishes) Cotswold District
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

Temporary Closure Of 401510 Yewtree Cottages To Cherington Cricket Grounds And Tetbury Road To Yewtree Cottages (Cherington Parish) Cotswold District
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401510 Yewtree Cottages to Cherington Cricket Grounds and Tetbury Road to Yewtree Cottages from outside the Cricket Ground to outside the property known as Grove Cottages for a distance of approximately 2148 metres. The reason for the closure is to carry out tree removal works.

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401505 Point Road from its junction with High Street to its junction with The Grove for | a distance of approximately 60 metres. The reason for the closure is to install a boundary box.

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of A40 London Road from its junction with Fosseway to its junction with East End for a distance of approximately 2087 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out essential maintenance works.

Gloucestershire County Council (40 Mph Speed Limit - Bath Road) (Town Of Tetbury) (Cotswold District) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:
(i) Prohibit the driving of any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 mph on the length of road described in Schedule 1 below; and
(ii) Revoke the Gloucestershire County Council (Town of Tetbury) (Restricted Road and 40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 1983. This will mean that the lengths of roads described in Schedule 2 below will remain as 30mph but by virtue of streetlighting rather than by order.

The reason for the closure is for carriageway patching and improvement works. There will be no waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 1st September 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2023.
