Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Yarnton, Church Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 22 August 2022

Coming into force: 30 August 2022 This Order is being introduced because of sewer repairs which are anticipated to be completed 12 September 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the northern section of Church Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T10427/AC)

Bicester, Leach Road, Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 5/9/2022

Coming into force: 12/9/2022 This Order is being introduced because of minor carriageway patching works which are anticipated to take 9 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Leach Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic will be signed locally.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T10592/RMF)

Ambrosden, Ploughley Road Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 14 March 2022 Came into force: 25 March 2022. This Order was introduced for road widening and implementation of a traffic controls which was anticipated to be completed in September 2022. 17 March 2023 is now the revised date due to necessary changes to the work schedule and traffic management requirements. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the northern section of Ploughley Road to its junction with the A41. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Blackthorn Road, B4011, A41 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
