Temporary Closure Of Public Footpath CCO 17 (Coaley Parish) Stroud District

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath CCO 17 north-east of Westfield Farm extending in a generally south-south-easterly then south-easterly direction to south-east of Westfield Farm for approximately 80 metres.
The closure is necessary to undertake works to a rail crossing which has been identified as unsafe by Network Rail.
This temporary closure Order came into force on the 6th September 2017, and was originally extended on the 24th February 2018 until the 24th August 2018. Works had still not been completed by this date. Therefore, the Secretary of State granted further extensions to: 24th February 2019, 24th August 2020, 24th February 2021, 24th August 2021, and to the 24th August 2022. However, the works have still not been completed and the Secretary of State has granted a further extension until 24th August 2023 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.

Temporary Road Closure 3/256 And 41628 Damery Lane (Alkington And Ham And Stone Parishes) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/256 and 41628 Damery Lane from its junction with the A38 Woodford it its junction with the A38 Stone for a total distance of approximately 2900 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out Gigaclear works.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/230 Nibley Green from its junction with Upper Wick to Burleigh Cottages to its junction with Frog Lane for a total distance of approximately 450 metres.
The reason for the closure is to install a new water connection.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/259 Blanchworth Road from its junction with A38 to The Railway Bridge for a distance of approximately 996 metres. The reason for the closure is to install a storage grid connection.
