Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2022 [Prohibition of Waiting on Drakes Close and Walkwood Road, Redditch)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Redditch: Drakes Close (East Side): From its junction with Walkwood Road for a distance of 12 metres in a southerly direction. (West Side): From its junction with Walkwood Road for a distance of 4 metres in a southerly direction. Walkwood Road (South Side): From its junction with Drakes Close for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction and 5 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2022 (Limited Waiting Parking on Smallwood Street, Redditch)


On 11 August 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to Limit Waiting 8am-6pm, 2 Hours, No Return Within 2 Hours on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch:-
Smallwood Street (East side): From a point, 16m from Ipsley Street, for a distance of 34m, in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

(B4101 Beoley Lane, Beoley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022


Order made:
to close that part of B4101 Beoley Lane from its junction with the slip
road onto Broad Lane (Warwickshire) to its junction with A435 Alcester Road and lane
closure preventing traffic turning onto the slip roads in both directions towards A4101 Broad Lane.
Reason: Utility works by BT.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: HGV diversion: B4101 Beoley Lane, B4101 Church Hill, B4101 Dagnell End Road, A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A4023 Coventry Highway, Coventry Highway (Warwickshire), Alcester Road (Warwickshire) and vice versa. Light Vehicle Diversion: B4101 Beoley Lane, B4101 Church Hill, B4497 Icknield Street (7.5 tonne weight limit), B4497 Paper Mill Drive, A4023 Coventry Highway roundabout, A4023 Coventry Highway, Coventry Highway (Warwickshire), Alcester Road (Warwickshire) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing:
28 August 2022.

(U23212 Old Birmingham Road, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order:
to close that part of U23212 Old Birmingham Road from its junction with C2291 Birmingham Road to its junction with U23211 Jays Crescent. Reason: New Customer Connection by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4120 Redditch Road, U23211 Jays Crescent and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 17 September 2022.

(Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation and Revocation) Order 2022 (Experimental Prohibition of Waiting on A441 Evesham Road, Astwood Bank, Redditch)


On 18 August 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will Prohibition of Waiting At any Time on the following length and side of road in Redditch:
A441 Evesham Road, Astwood Bank (Both sides): From a point 25m south of its junction with U30019 Evesham Road Service Road for a distance of 20m in a southerly direction. (East side): From a point 72m south of its junction with U30019 Evesham Road Service Road for a distance of 34m in a southerly direction. (West side): From a point 99m south of its junction with U30019 Evesham Road Service Road for a distance of 7m in a southerly direction. Revocation of Restriction of Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-8pm
A441 Evesham Road, Astwood Bank (Both sides): From a point 25m south of its junction with U30019 Evesham Road Service Road for a distance of 78m in a southerly direction.
The Order contains exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Experimental Order will come into operation on 1 September 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months Documents in relation to this Order can be downloaded at
