Temporary Closure of Milverton Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along; Milverton Road - from the junction with Langford Budville Road, north eastwards for a distance of 370 metres. This Order will enable Avonline to carry out works to locate and clear blockage on behalf of Gigaclear.

The Order becomes effective on 8th September 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 16th September 2022 and last until 16th September 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 1 day.

b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
