Temporary Closure of Laburnum Street, Taunton

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Laburnum Street - from the junction with St Augustine Street, south westwards for a distance of 25 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out supply separation works.

The Order becomes effective on 8th September 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 12th September 2022 and last until 16th September 2022 between the hours of 00:00-23:59 for a total of 5 days.
