TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ABBOTS LANGLEY 68
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Abbots Langley 68, heading east from jumction with Kings Langley 21 to Station Road, for an approximate distance of 310m. Alternative Route: via Station Road and Home Park Mill Link.
The purpose of the Order is to enable deculverting of Mill stream and footbridge replacement works to take place. The section of Footpath Abbots Langley 68 will be closed on or after 02 September 2022 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE BUS/CYCLE LANE SITUATED ON THE SOUTH EAST SIDE OF A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all public service vehicles and pedal cycles from using the bus/cycle lane situated on the south east side of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from a point 70m south west of its junction with the 'Odhams Trading Estate' access road south westwards for a distance of approximately 118m ("the Bus/Cycle Lane"). An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road.
The definition of a 'public service vehicle' has the same meaning as in Section 1 of the Public Passenger Vehicles
Act 1981.
The definition of a 'pedal cycle' means a cycle powered only by foot or hand.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GYPSY LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER NO.3 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gypsy Lane, Abbots Langley from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.2 Gypsy Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 28m ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access
to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However
the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN OXHEY DRIVE, SOUTH OXHEY)
ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Oxhey Drive, South Oxhey from its junction with Ainsdale Road north eastwards to its northernmost junction with B4542 Prestwick Road, a distance of approximately 630m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Oxhey Drive and B4542 Prestwick Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because tree works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 September 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However
the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASCOT ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ascot Road, Watford from a point 32m south east of its junction with the Whippendell Road roundabout south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the access road leading to 'Morrisons', a distance of approximately 315m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Ascot Road.
The Order is needed because the removal of a tower crane is proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 August 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However
the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Harthall Lane, Primrose Hill, Toms Lane, High Street, Church Hill, Bedmond Road and Harthall Lane.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of High Elms Lane, Abbots Langley from a point 525m south east of its junction with Woodside Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via High Elms Lane, Woodside Road, Horseshoe Lane, A405 St Albans Road and High Elms Lane
or via High Elms Lane, A405 (St Albans Road/North Orbital Road), the M25 (junction 21a) roundabout, A405
(North Orbital Road/St Albans Road), Horseshoe Lane, Woodside Road and High Elms Lane.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 21 August 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Aycliffe Road, Borehamwood from its junction with the Brampton Terrace/Sawtry Way roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Gateshead Road, a distance of approximately 442m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Brampton Terrace, Stapleton Road, B5378 (Green Street/ Cowley Hill) and Gateshead Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A411 Elstree Road, Borehamwood/A411 Watford Road, Elstree from its junction with the A41 Tylers Way/A41 North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass) roundabout north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A5183 High Street, a distance of approximately 1592m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne), A4140 (High Road/ The Common/Stanmore Hill), A410 London Road, A5 Brockley Hill and A5183 (Elstree Hill South/High Street) or via A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill South), A5 Brockley Hill, A410 London Road, A4140 (Stanmore Hill/The Common/High Road), A411 (Sparrows Herne/High Street/London Road/Chalk Hill), A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/Waterfields Way), A4008 Stephenson Way and A41 (Otterspool Way/Elton Way/ Tylers Way).
2. that length of A41 Elton Way, Bushey/A41 Tylers Way, Watford and A41 North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass), Elstree from its junction with the B462 Hartspring Lane roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the A5183 Elstree Hill South/A41 Edgware Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 5221m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne), A4140 (High Road/The Common/Stanmore Hill), A410 London Road and A5 Brockley Hill
or via A5 Brockley Hill, A410 London Road, A4140 (Stanmore Hill/The Common/High Road), A411 (Sparrows Herne/ High Street/London Road/Chalk Hill), A4008 (Aldenham Road/Pinner Road), A411 (Lower High Street/Dalton Way/ Waterfields Way), A4008 Stephenson Way and A41 Otterspool Way.
3. that length of Dagger Lane, Elstree from its junction with A41 Tylers Way north eastwards for a distance of approximately 400m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (Tylers Way/North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass), A5183 (Elstree Hill South/High Street/Elstree Hill North/Watling Street), Butterfly Lane, Aldenham Road and Dagger Lane.
4. that length of Sandy Lane, Bushey from its junction with A41 Elton Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 75m.
An alternative route will be via A41 Elton Way, B462 Hartspring Lane, Little Bushey Lane and Sandy Lane.
5. that length of Sandy Lane, Elstree from its junction with A41 Elton Way north eastwards for a distance of approximately 120m.
An alternative route will be via A41 Elton Way, B462 Hartspring Lane, Hilfield Lane and Sandy Lane.
6. the A41 Tylers Way/A41 North Western Avenue (Watford Bypass) roundabout, Bushey Heath from its junction with A411 Elstree Road clockwise for a distance of approximately 207m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (Tylers Way/Elton Way/North Western Avenue), A4008 Stephenson Way, A411 (Waterfields Way/Lower High Street/Chalk Hill/London Road/High Street/Sparrows Herne), A4140 (High Road/The Common/Stanmore Hill), A410 London Road and A5 Brockley Hill

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the B462 Aldenham Road/The Avenue roundabout, Bushey from its junction with Bushey Hall Road clockwise for a distance of approximately 101m.
An alternative route will be via B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey Mill Lane, Park Avenue, Greatham Road and Bushey
Hall Road
or via B462 Aldenham Road, Vale Road, A411 London Road, Falconer Road, Finch Lane and The Avenue.
2. that length of The Avenue, Bushey from its junction with the B462 Aldenham Road/ The Avenue roundabout south eastwards to its junction with Grange Road, a distance of approximately 360m.
An alternative route will be via B462 Aldenham Road, Vale Road, A411 London Road, Falconer Road, Finch Lane and The Avenue.
3. that length of Bushey Hall Road, Bushey from its junction with the B462 Aldenham Road/The Avenue roundabout north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Greatham Road, a distance of approximately 546m.
An alternative route will be via B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey Mill Lane, Park Avenue and Greatham Road.
4. that length of B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey from its junction with the Bushey Hall Road/The Avenue roundabout south westwards to its junction with Bushey Grove Road, a distance of approximately 250m.
An alternative route will be via The Avenue, Finch Lane, Falconer Road, A411 London Road, Vale Road and B462 Aldenham Road.
5. that length of B462 Aldenham Road, Aldenham from its junction with the Bushey Hall Road/The Avenue roundabout north eastwards to its junction with Marlborough Drive, a distance of approximately 220m.
An alternative route will be via Bushey Hall Road, Greatham Road, Park Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane and B462 Aldenham Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON BURY LANE, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2022
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bury Lane, Rickmansworth from its junction with Church Street south westwards to a point in line with the western boundary of No.28 Church Street, a distance of approximately 35m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Church Street, A404 Riverside Drive, Wensum Way, Ebury Approach, Ebury Road and Bury Lane.
ADDITIONALLY the existing prescribed route on Bury Lane, Rickmansworth which prohibits vehicular traffic from proceeding south east towards Church Street will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions in this road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 August 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
