Licensing Act 2003 Notice Of Application To Vary A Premises Licence Under Section 34

Notice is hereby given that on the 11th August 2022 The Craft Union Pub Company Ltd
applied to Bury Council for a variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises White Lion (formerly Old White Lion Hotel) 6 Bolton Street, Bury BL9 0LQ. The proposed variation is:-1. To vary the start time Monday to Sunday for licensable activities (sale of alcohol and recorded music) and opening hours to 10am. 2. To vary the end time for licensable activities (sale of alcohol, recorded music and late night refreshment) Friday and Saturday only to 02:00. 3. To vary the opening hours on a Friday and Saturday only to 02:30. 4. To add/amend conditions on to the premises licence.

Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by:- Licensing Unit Manager, Bury Council, Level 2, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0EJ by email to: licensing@

no later than 8th September 2022 stating the grounds for representations. The register of Bury Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the above Council address between 10am - 4pm Mon - Fri. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
