(B1033 Colchester Road, Weeley) (Temporary 30mph Speed Limit) (Proper Fest) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph Speed Limit on B1033 Colchester Road, from its junction with the A133/B1033 Weeley services roundabout, east to its junction with the B1033/B1441 roundabout.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on the 27/08/2022 for 3 days between the hours of 11:00am and 11.50pm or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and are required for the duration of the Clacton Family, Proper Fest and Weeley Tribute festivals being held over 3 consecutive days at Hawk Fruit Farm, Weeley. The restriction is required in order to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public and in particular, as a result of the events in progress, pedestrians walking along the verges and the edge of the carriageway, particularly in the evenings.
The Orders will come into operation on 27/08/2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the events have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Beche Road/Weston Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Weston Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Gilberd Road for a distance of approximately 90m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Beche Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Bourne Road for a distance of approximately 160m in a south easterly direction.
These closures are scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2331347/0923 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. These closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Gilberd Road, Bourne Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Botany Lane, Weeley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Botany Lane, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Clacton Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5005ESS00910130 - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
There is no alternative route for this closure.

(Fishponds Hill, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fishponds Hill, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS346233A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole test works are undertaken by Openreach. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grove Hill, Langham in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with School Road for a distance of approximately 620m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th September 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2329276 -Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gutteridge Hall Lane, Weeley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Clacton Road to its end a distance of approximately 580m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A5005ESS00910131 - County Broadband Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Fishponds Hill for a distance of approximately 80m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS398126A - Openreach). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Prettygate Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Beech Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th September 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010699647/1 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fordham Road, Wormingford in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Packards Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010681633 - Anglian Water). (Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.2) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the Borough of Colchester, as detailed in the Schedule.

2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the schedule.

3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

4. "The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force

The works are scheduled to commence after 11th August 2022, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
