Notice Is hereby given that, In not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Broomfields Rd, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Broomfields Rd from its jct. with Dingleway to the vehicular entrance to Broomfields Leisure Centre. The Order will be effective from 31st August 2022 for 1 day, between 8am & 4:30pm, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Dingleway, Southway Ave & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to undertake switchgear replacement work to the substation. Ref: High/2367
Gainsborough Rd (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Gainsborough Rd from its jct. with Chester Rd to its jct. with Silverdale Rd. The Order will be effective from 30th August 2022 for 2 days, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Wilderspool Cswy, Chester Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for the installation of a new telecom pole. Ref: High/2369
Tan House Ln, Burtonwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Tan House Ln from its jct. with Burtonwood Rd to its jct. with Farmers Ln. The Order will be effective from 5th September 2022 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Burtonwood Rd, Clay Ln, Chapel Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out electrical installation works. Ref: High/2370
Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 45) Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 17th August 2022. The effect of the Order is as follows:-1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:
(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Peace Dr (Both Sides) - For its entire length.
(b) In the 71st Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Peace Dr (Both Sides) - For its entire length.
The Order will be effective from 18th August 2022.

regulation-orders or Town Hall Reception, Town Hall, Sankey St, Warrington, WA1 1UH between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 17th August 2022, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
