Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1196 From Stone Street To Cornerstone, Canon Bridge Madley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1196 From Stone Street To Cornerstone, Canon Bridge Madley, at the junction of Magnolia Farm Road. Grid Ref: 343167/241127. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1196 onto Stone Street, onto the B4352 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of September 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
