(Great Milton, Little Milton, Great Haseley, And Tiddington With Albury Area) (Speed Limits) Order 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order - in order to help improve road safety on local roads following concerns raised by the Parish Councils - is to introduce 20mph speed limits, replacing the existing 30mph speed limits in their entirety, on all roads leading out to the following points:
A. Great Haseley:
1. Latchford Lane - a point 510 metres southeast of Thame Road,
2. Rectory Road - a point 190 metres northwest of Back Way,
3. Thame Road:
Northern end - a point 125 metres north of Rectory Road, Southern end - a point 385 metres southwest of Church Hill
B. Great Milton:
1. Church Road - a point 105 metres northwest of its junction with the A329 Stadhampton to Thame road,
2. Lower End - a point 255 metres northwest of its junction with Potts Close,
3. The Forties - a point 100 metres west of its junction with Church Road,
4. Thame Road - a point 130 metres northwest of its junction with the A329 Stadhampton to Thame road.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Great Milton, Little Milton, Great Haseley, And Tiddington With Albury Area) (Speed Limits) (No.2) Order 2017 will be revoked/replaced as necessary. Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the 16 September 2022. NOTICE is given that on 15 August 2020 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This relates to the introduction of three Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) in the Church Cowley, Florence Park and Temple Cowley areas of Oxford, which aim to prevent motorised through-traffic so as to calm the residential areas, thereby encouraging active, healthy and sustainable forms of travel. The new orders, which come into force on 22 August 2022 make permanent the provisions of the Experimental Traffic Orders from 2021 for Church Cowley, Florence Park and Temple Cowley areas.
Mandatory 'Prohibition of Motor Vehicles' signage is supported by bollards and/or 'planters' (large wooden planted boxes) to create Traffic Filters at the following locations to prevent through traffic in the residential areas: Florence Park Area:
Clive Road 29 metres east of Rymers Lane
Littlehay Road 15 metres east of Rymers Lane
Rymers Lane 213 metres north of Cornwallis Road/Littlehay Road
Cornwallis Road 76 metres west of Campbell Road.
Church Cowley area:
?Bartholomew Road 38 metres west of Liddell Road Beauchamp Lane 32 metres north of Littlemore Road Church Hill Road 45 metres north of Westbury Crescent Liddell Road 14 metres north of Dodgson Road Littlemore Road 10 metres north of Compass Close Mayfair Road 25 metres west of Littlemore Road. Temple Cowley Area:
Crescent Road 30 metres west of Junction Road Junction Road 24 metres south of Crescent Road Salegate Lane 19 metres east of Temple Road Temple Road 28 metres east of Purland Close.
Each restriction point is supported by double yellow lines (No Waiting at Any Time) to prevent obstruction. Exemptions are in place for emergency services, road repairs, utility services, and Mail collections/deliveries.
'The Bartholomew Road and Cornwallis Road fitters only also allow Buses and Taxis through. If you wish to question the validity of either of the Orders or any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within 6 weeks from 15 August 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
