(Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 19/8/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on a 165 metre length of Pinfold Bridge, Footpath number 83, Stanhope Parish St John's Chapel Ward, Daddry Shield between Footpath Number 86 and Footpath Number 89 at Low Saugh Shield to enable bridge repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south east side of the closure travelling north east on Footpath number 89, north on Bridleway number 90, west on Daddry Shield Bridge, south west on Footpath number 86 to the north west side of the closure, and vice versa.

The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 23/8/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 10 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
