 PROPOSED EXPANSION OF GRAHAM JAMES PRIMARY ACADEMY, THE SORRELLS, STANFORD-LE-HOPE, ESSEX

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that the Governing Body of Graham James Primary Academy intends to make a prescribed alteration to Graham James Primary Academy, (an Academy), The Sorrells, Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex SS17 7ES from 1st September 2014.

The proposal is to expand the physical capacity of the school to provide 420 pupil places and nursery provision for 52 part time places from September 2014. The current capacity of the school is 210 and the proposed capacity will be 420. The current number of pupils registered at the school is 208. The current admission number for the school is 30 and the proposed admission number will be 60. 30 pupils will be added to the reception year group each year until the new capacity is reached.
