The London Borough Of Richmond-Upon-Thames
hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Sections 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highways described in the First Schedule.
The Order Is Made to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out subject to the granting of planning consent under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames on 21 April 2022 under local planning authority reference 21/1328/FUL.
Copies Of The Order And Relevant Plan May Be Inspected Free Of Charge between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Thursday 18 August 2022 at Ham Library, Ham Street, ham, Richmond-Upon-Thames, TW10 7HR, and at:
transport/public_notices (Reference 21/1328/FUL)
Any Person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of Thursday 18 August 2022, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provision contained therein.
The First Schedule Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up
That part of Croft Way, consisting of an area of 107m2 running from a point north to south on the northern side of Croft Way, Ham, Richmond, TW10 7HR, for a distance of 5.8m, and from a point west to east on the eastern side of Croft Way for a distance of 22m.

The Development
Part three storey part single storey extension to provide an additional retail unit (Class E) at ground floor and 1 x residential dwelling on upper floors. Alterations to bay windows at 171 Ashburnham Road. Associated hard and soft landscaping works including alterations to first floor amenity area, refuse and cycle stores.
