Proposed Traffic Calming Measures In B284 Church Street, Epsom
Surrey County Council in exercise of their powers under Section 90(A) to (I) inclusive of the Highways Act 1980 propose to introduce a series of physical measures to improve safety and reduce vehicle speeds in B284 Church Street, Epsom. The type of physical measures and their locations are as described below:-
(1) A road table which will extend across the full width of the road, will be 10.5m long and 75mm high centred at the same location of the pedestrian crossing 16m east of the centre of the junction with Depot Road.
(2) A road table which will extend across the full width of the road, will be 9.5m long and 75mm high centred at the same location of the pedestrian crossing 20m east of the centre of the junction with Pitt Place. A copy of the plan showing the location of the proposed raised tables may be viewed on-line at
roads-and-transport/policies-plans-consultations/roads-and-transport-consultations (follow the link to Church Street, Epsom, Traffic Calming proposal), or at (a) Epsom Library, 6 Epsom Square, Epsom, Surrey KT19 8AG, during normal opening hours; and at (b) Reception, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, Merrow Lane, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 7BQ, by appointment only. If you wish to object to or make other representations about the proposal you must send them in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made, (1) by using the online form via the webpage quoted above; or (2) to the undersigned, at Traffic Regulation Orders Team, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, Merrow Lane, Guildford, Surrey GU4 7BQ, by 15 September 2022.
