(Hawthorne Terrace, Fellrose Court, Grange Road, Grange Terrace, Gardiner Crescent, Pelton) (Temporary Road and Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of footpath in Pelton between property numbers: Fellrose Court - 27 - 31, 24 - 26,17 - 23, 1-9, footpaths to the east and west of the garage block adjacent to number 31, footpath from numbers 3 to 26 and the following lengths of road in Peltan, between property numbers: Hawthorne Terrace - a 23 metre closure, outside of 20 and 21 Grange Road - a 62 metre closure outside of 45 and 46, and from the side of 45, to Pelton Fell Road Grange Terrace - a 60 metre closure, outside of 21 - 29 Gardiner Crescent - a 45 metre closure, from the west side of 4, to outside of 8 to enable new telecom duct and cable installation works to be undertaken. Alternative routes will be available generally to pedestrian and vehicular traffic via other local routes in the area. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 5/9/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 6 months. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
