(Bridleway Number 18 (Pelton Parish), Courtney Drive, Gairloch Drive, Ouston Lane, Wood Street, Elwin Street, Sandyford Place, Station Lane. Pelton) (Temporary Phased Road, Bridleway and Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 12/8/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular, pedestrian, equestrian and cyclist traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of road, Bridleway and footpath:

Phase 1 - Bridleway Number 18 Pelton Parish - A 280 metre280 metre length of Bridleway Number 18, Brackenbeds Lane, Pelton, between Pelton Lane and the A693, between Pelton Lane and the A693.

Phase 2 -Footpaths at Courtney Drive, Gairloch Drive and Ouston Lane A 600 metre length of Courtney Drive, Pelton, adjacent to properties 4 to 8, 9 to 14 and 21 to 50. A 500 metre length of Gairloch Drive, Pelton, adjacent to properties 1 to 7, 8 to 14, and 15 to 28. A 250 metre length of Ouston Lane, Pelton, adjacent to Gairloch Drive.

Phase 3 - Roads at Wood Street (rear) and Elwin Street A 185 metre length of Wood Street (rear), Pelton, to the rear of property numbers 1 to 20. A 55 metre length of Elwin Street, Pelton, adjacent to property numbers 1 to 13.

Phase 4 - Road at Sandyford Place
- A12 metre length of Sandyford Place, Pelton, to the front of property numbers 20 and 22.

Phase 5 - Road at Station Lane - A 500 metre length of Station Lane, Pelton, from Pelton House Farm Estate to Station Lane Allotments to enable gas mains replacement works to be undertaken. Alternative routes are: Phase 1 from the south side of the closure, north west on the footpath adjacent to Pelton Community primary and Pelton Library, then north east past the lavender Centre towards the A693, then along the north side of the A693, and vice versa. Phase 2 via other footpaths and footways in the area. Phase 3 from the north side, east on Front Street, south on Grange Street, south west on Elwin Place, and north on Wood Street, and vice versa. Phase 4 from the west side of the closure, south on Sandyford, east on Middlefield, and the north/ north west on Sandyford Place. Phase 5 from the south side of the closure, south on Station Lane, then west on Front Street / Newfield Road, north/ north east on Pelton Lane, and south on Station Lane, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order Is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 22/8/22 and are anticipated to be completed by 12/12/22. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Access to East Farm and East farm Cottage will be maintained.
