(B6312 Front Street, Witton Gilbert) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 12/8/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 320 metres of Front Street between its junctions with the access to Snook Acres and Falkous Terrace, and also 190 metres of Sacriston Lane between its junctions with Front Street and Falkous Terrace, Witton Gilbert to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south western / south eastern sides of the closure from Front Street onto A691 then easterly on A691 to A167 Sniperley Roundabout then north easterly to Blackie Boy Roundabout and northerly on B6532 to Sacriston then south westerly on B6312 to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 20/8/22 from 7am to 7pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 6 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
