(Pelton Lane, Pelton, Chester-le-Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 18 metres of Pelton Lane, Pelton, Chester-le-Street, outside of property numbers 10 to 16 to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the east side of the closure, north on Ouston Lane, west on the A693, south on Edward Terrace, and then east on Front Street, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 4/9/22 from 22.00 and are anticipated to be completed on 5/9/22 at 01.00. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Dated: 18th August 2022
