(Amendment
No.11) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To Implement 'Disabled Badge Holders Only' at the following locations:

Road
Sycamore Close, Canvey Island
Description
North side: From a point approximately 9 metres west of the eastern boundary of 15 Sycamore Close, westwards for a distance of approximately 5 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Castle Point District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile number TQ785 832 Rev 0 to Rev 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 31 August 2022.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Hill Avenue, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hill Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point 20m northeast of its junction with Southend Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th September 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2330659 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while kerb repair and ironworks are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Hill Avenue, Beauchamps Drive, Whist Avenue, Highcliffe Road, Southend Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rayleigh Road, Hart Road & Daws Heath Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Rayleigh Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Common Lane to its junction with The Chase a distance of approximately 480m.

2. To temporarily close that length of Hart Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Rayleigh Road to its junction with Leighfields a distance of approximately 160m.

3. To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Rayleigh Road to its junction with Firfield Road a distance of approximately 70m.

4. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above lengths of road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, for the duration of the above closures only

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restrictions and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 5th September 2022 for 13 nights (19:00-06:30), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2326582 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway surfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via:
1. Rayleigh Road, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Southend Arterial, Fairglen Interchange, Canvey Way, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, London Road, Bread and Cheese Hill, Kiln Road, London Road, Rayleigh Road and vice versa.

2. Hart Road, Kenneth Road, Kiln Road, London Road, Rayleigh Road and vice versa.

3. Rayleigh Road, London Road New Road, Rectory Road, Daws Heath Road, OR Daws Heath Road, Rectory Road, London Road, High Street, London Road, Rayleigh Road.

The Order will come into effect on 25th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Church Road, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 50m northwest of its junction with Osbourne Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th August 2022 for 1 night (23:00-23:59), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701FSS2-24-77-280822 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Clay Hill Road, Timberlog Lane, Mopsies Roundabout, Broadmayne, Broadmayne Roundabout and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 11th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) (No.2) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as specified in the schedule.

"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 11th August 2022 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
