Parish of Pitminster Temporary Closure of Howleigh Lane

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Howleigh Lane -from the junction with Southwood Way, westwards for a total distance of 50 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry works in underground structure. The Order becomes effective on 4th August 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd August 2022 and last until 23rd August 2022 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 6 hours. Please visit
