Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Wellington Without Temporary Closure of Sampford Moor Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Sampford Moor Road - from the junction with Brimstone Lane, north eastwards for a total distance of 497 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to renew stop tap. The Order becomes effective on 1 st September 2022 and will remain In force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 7th September 2022 and last until 9th September 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days. Please visit
