Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of Rockwell Green

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Rockwell Green - from the junction with Exeter Road, north westwards for a total distance of 100 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out works to replace 3 sluice valve covers. The Order becomes effective on 1st Septembber 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 7th September 2022 and last until 9th September 2022 between the hours of 09:30 -15:30 for a total of 3 days.
