Parish of Wiveliscombe Temporary Closure of Whitefield Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Whitefield Road - from the junction with Deep Leigh Lane, southwards for a total distance of 12 metres. This Order will enable BT Openreach to carry out underground transfer of plant. The Order becomes effective on 18th August 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 22nd August 2022 and last until 22nd August 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -18:00 for a total of 10 hours. Please visit
