Bournemouth, Christchurch And Poole Council Magna Road - Footpath & Cycle Lane Closures Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT & WHERE: Magna Road - footpath running between Nos. 67 & 69 Magna Road to Nos. 93 & 95 Runnymede Avenue - footpath closed to all pedestrians and cyclists. Cycles lanes on both sides of Magna Road suspended north of the junction with Wood Lane to o/s Nos. 95 and 106 Magna Road - closed to all cyclists
WHEN: Anticipated dates: from Tuesday 30 August 2022 until Friday 1 September 2023
WHY: For health and safety while work is undertaken to facilitate a Section 278 Scheme to include carriageway realignment and service diversions on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.
FOOTPATH DIVERSION: Magna Road, King John Avenue, Runnymede Avenue
ACCESS: Full Emergency Service access will be maintained

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State. The Council regrets any inconvenience caused by this Traffic Order.
