(Walton Street, Barrhead) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2022

On the 12 August 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984.The Order authorises a restriction to vehicles parking within 10 metres of the junction of Walton Street with Carlibar Road, Barrhead in order to facilitate access for delivery vehicles servicing a temporary site compound created at the end of Walton Street in connection with adjacent environmental works taking place.

The Order comes into effect from 17 August 2022 and will remain in effect for a maximum period of 18 months or on completion of the environmental works, if sooner.

The parking restrictions will be in operation only when required by the contractor on site during working hours, Monday to Friday, and indicated by the display of yellow No-Waiting cones placed along the edge of the carriageway and will apply to all  vehicles with the exception of emergency vehicles attending an incident.
