Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Clift Avenue, Chippenham; from is junction with Langley Road for its entire length to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 21 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 22:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. I) Marshfield Road (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with New Road to its junction with St Paul Street to enable Wessex Water to carry out permanent reinstatement and associated works. Alternative route via A420. This Order will come into operation on 21 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. J) Newbury Avenue (Part), Calne; from outside property known as No.3 Newbury Avenue to outside property known as No.7 Newbury Avenue to enable Wessex Water to rectify a Section 81 defect and associated works. Alternative route via Newbury Avenue (unaffected length) - Honeysuckle Close and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 August 2022 and the closure will be required for 2 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The County Of Wiltshire (Various Roads) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order (No.12) 2022 (Ref Ttro 8217)
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedules to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 22 August 2022 for a maximum period of 18 months. Where a road is to be closed on
two separate dates this is to allow sufficient time between the surface dressing and sealing and lining works. The closures will not be implemented for the whole of the period and are anticipated to be for one to two days duration only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. Closures 1 to 16 is anticipated to take place between 22 August - 30 September 2022.

Section 16(A) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to introduce a temporary 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of road: A) A342 Devizes Road, Calne Without - from a point approximately 300 metres south of its junction with Naish Hill to a point approximately 650 metres north of that junction. B) A4 Bath Road, Fyfield and West Overton-from a point 150 metres west of its junction with the C38 (to Lockeridge) to a point 150 metres east of that junction. C) A3102, Hilmarton - from a point approximately 300 metres south west of its junction with C15 (Sandy Furlong Plantation) to a point approximately 300 metres north east of that junction. D) C15 (to Sandy Furlong Plantation), Hilmarton - from its junction with A3102 for approximately 800 metres in a south easterly direction. And to Introduce temporary No waiting at any time on C38, Lockeridge, West Overton - both sides - from its junction with Ryles Lane for approximately 700 metres in a northerly direction. These temporary traffic measures are required to safeguard members of the public and participants whilst enabling the Outlaw Half to take place. This Order will come into operation on 04 September 2022 and it is anticipated that the restrictions will be required between the hours of 06.30 and 14.00.
