Regulation 25 Notice

TO: WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

We '52-58 Middle Street Brighton Limited' do hereby give notice that it is our intention to apply to Brighton & Hove City Council in the county of East Sussex for a new premises licence to use or permit the use of premises known as The Hippodrome, 52-58 Middle Street, Brighton, BN1 1AL so as to allow the sale of alcohol between the hours of 10.00 to 23.30 daily with the premise remaining open to 24.00. Except on New Years Day when sales will extend to 02.00 and closing time will be 02.30. This will also apply on up to 18 other approved events a year where notice has been given in all cases after 23.00 Late Night Refreshments will be available. Additionally, a complete range of entertainments and permitted activities will be allowed during opening times except where limited to less because of the style of the entertainment as named in the application. Further to this the residents in the hotel part of the complex will be given 24 hour service for Alcohol and where applicable Late Night Refreshments. All outside service will be waiter/waitress service to persons seated at tables and chairs will stop at 23.00 and when no further admission will be allowed

Any person who desires to make a representation to the application, should send to Assistant Director, Public Safety, Health & Safety and Licensing, Bartholomew House, Bartholomew Square, Brighton, BN1 1JP no later than the 9th of September 2022 a brief written statement of the grounds of his/her objection. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is currently £5000 [level 5].
