Traffic Orders

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL under the provisions of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Traffic Management Act 2004 made the following orders,

(Waiting and Loading restrictions and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2021 (Variation No. 5) Order 2021 Ref: (ST&I/TRO/High St & Penhill Dr)

To revoke a length of 'No Waiting at Any Time' along the north side of Penhill Drive, east of the junction with Enford Avenue and replace a bus stop clearway with 'No Waiting At Any Time' along the east side of High Street, Old Town, north of Charlotte Mews.

To revoke the 'No Waiting and No Loading 7am-9am and 12pm-2pm and 4pm-6pm, and the Bus stop clearway from Cricklade Road between Wilcox Close and Menham Close to be replaced with a revised 'No Waiting At Any Time', bus stop clearway and ziz zag markings at either side of a signalised crossing where stopping is prohibited. If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 10 August 2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
