Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2022 A68 Swan House Roundabout, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
A68 SWAN HOUSE ROUNDABOUT - ENTIRELY A68 WEST AUCKLAND ROAD - from its junction at Swan House Roundabout north westwards for 65metres A6072 COATSAY MOOR LANE - from its junction at Swan House Roundabout north eastwards for 80metres

An alternative route will be signed via A167, St Andrew's Way, B6444, A6072, A688 and vice versa.
The Order is necessary to allow road resurfacing works.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 30th August 2022, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective between 2000hours and 0600hours, for 5 nights.
