Site Notice: Licensing Act 2003 Application For A New 6 Year Time-Limited (Nov-Jan) Premises Licence
Notice is hereby given that Premier Winter Wonderland Events Limited has applied ?n 4 August 2022 to Reading Borough Council in respect of the premises known as "Reading Winter Wonderland", Hills Meadow Car Park, George Street, Reading, RG4 8DH ("The Premises") as identified on the plan lodged with the application for the grant of a new (6 year time-limited) premises licence permitting the following licensable activities on the following days and hours: Annually between 12 November* and 2 January* for 6 years from 2022 to 2028 to permit: Sale of Alcohol and Regulated Entertainment: 11:00 to 22:00 daily; Opening Hours: 11:00 to 22:30 latest daily (except closed on 25 December each year). 'Each year, the precise dates of the licensed event running between November and very early January, may vary marginally, but the commencement will be in or around mid-November and the end will be in the first week of January, shortly after New Year's Day. For 2022/23, the licensed event will operate as stipulated above. Draft Licence Conditions have been lodged with this application, to promote the four Licensing Objectives.

Any person wishing to make representation to this application must do so in writing by Thursday 1 September 2022 (i.e. within 28 days of the application) as detailed above to: Reading Borough Council, Licensing Section, Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU or by email (as given above). No written representations will have personal details removed unless the Licensing Authority deems it appropriate to do so. Any request for personal details to be removed should be notified to the Licensing Authority at the time of making the representation. Representations must relating to one or more of the Licensing Objectives namely the prevention of crime and disorder; the prevention of public nuisance or of harm to children, and/or public safety.
It is an offence (under section 158 Licensing Act 2003) liable on conviction to a fine, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application.
