London Borough Of Harrow Green Lane Area Parking Review The Harrow (Parking Places) (Amendment No.16) Traffic Order 2022 The Harrow (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. 10) Traffic Order 2022 The Harrow (Waiting And Loading) (Amendment No. 114) Traffic Order 2022

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow on 8 August 2022 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be to introduce At Any Time Waiting Restrictions in certain lengths of Green Lane, Stanmore.

3. The general effect of the Free Parking Places Order will be to revoke the free parking places in Green Lane, Stanmore.

4. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be to:-

(a) designate a "Permit Parking Area' that will operate between 8.00a.m. and 6.30p.m. Monday to Saturday inclusive, including bank holidays, in the length of Green Lane that lies between the south-western kerb-line of Stanmore Hill and the southern boundary of "Fordyce" on the east side of Green Lane, and the northern kerb-line of Culverlands Close on the west side of Green Lane;

(b) specify that:

i. the Permit Parking Area may be used, subject to the provisions of the Order, for the leaving during the permitted hours of such vehicles as are passenger vehicles, goods carrying vehicles, motorcycles or invalid carriages holding a valid permit;

ii. any resident whose usual place of abode is within the Permit Parking Area may apply to the Council for the issue of a residents permit valid for use within the Permit Parking Area;

iii. the charge for residents permits for the Permit Parking Area would be as specified in the Schedule to this Notice;

iv. any resident whose usual place of abode is within the Permit Parking Area may apply to the Council for the issue of visitor's permits valid between 8.00a.m. and 6.30p.m. Monday to Saturday inclusive, including bank holidays;

v. any person who occupies premises in the Permit Parking Area and who uses such premises for business purposes may apply to the Council for the issue of business permits valid for use within the Permit Parking Area;

vi. the charge for business permits for the Permit Parking Area would be £58.00 (Electric Vehicles), £232.00 (Non Diesel Vehicles) or £278.00 (Diesel Vehicles).

5. A copy of each of the Orders, of a map of the relevant area, of relevant previous Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders can be inspected until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made online at

or alternatively at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 3pm Sunday.

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
