London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Stanley Gardens. CR4) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022


1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate a site compound in Stanley Gardens and construction works at Tooting Station, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Stanley Gardens.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Stanley Gardens, from its junction with Ashbourne Road to its northernmost extremity; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works at Tooting Station.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.

6. Stanley Gardens is a cul-de-sac, hence a diversion for vehicular traffic is not applicable.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 22nd August 2022 and remain in force for 1 year.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(FLORENCE ROAD. SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the service and repair of pipes in Florence Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Florence Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 113 and 115 Florence Road and the common boundary of Nos. 123 and 125 Florence Road; or

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Edith Road, Clarence Road and Ashley Road or vice-versa.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 22nd August 2022 with the works expected to be completed within 5 days. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(STATION ROAD. NEW MALDEN)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate a crane operation in Station Road, New Maiden, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Station Road, between its easternmost junction with West Barnes Lane and the Station Road entrance to Motspur Park railway station; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. During the works, the one-way working in Station Road will be suspended and two-way traffic permitted.

5. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. Traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using West Barnes Lane.

7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency.

8. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

9. The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 24th August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed that day. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(LOWER DOWNS ROAD. RAYNES PARK)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate Thames Water service pipe repair works in Lower Downs Road, Raynes Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Lower Downs Road, between its junction with Worple Road and its junction with Ethelbert Road; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency, subject to site conditions; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

(a) southbound by way of Worple Road, Delamere Road and Ethelbert Road; or

(b) northbound by way of Ethelbert Road, Albert Grove and Worple Road.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 22 August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on Friday 26 August 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

SEELY ROAD. TOOTING
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 169 Seely Road, Tooting, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Seely Road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in Seely Road, the north-east side, from the common boundary of Nos. 169 and 171 Seely Road, south-eastward for a distance of 11.4 metres.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 22 August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed by 30 September 2023. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that time should the works be delayed or further works required.
