Croydon Council Road Traffic Regulation Act. 1984. Section 14 As Amended The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 And All Other Enabling Powers Abbots Lane. Kenley Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new connection works by UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Abbots Lane, Kenley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Abbots Lane will be closed to vehicles outside No.8.
b) The south-eastern footway of Abbots Lane will be closed to pedestrians outside No. 23.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic will be via Abbots Lane, Hayes Lane, Park Road, Hayes Lane Abbots Lane and vice versa, as appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted via a walkway in the carriageway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 15 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should Further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said works.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate pipe repair works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Copse View, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Copse View will be closed at its south-easternmost junction with Farnborough Avenue (adjacent to No. 27a Farnborough Avenue).
3. During the closure the diversion route for traffic will be via Farnborough Avenue and Copse View (and vice versa).
4. The Order will come into operation on 16 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) Any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) Any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to a water service pipe, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Ederline Avenue, Norbury.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
a) The carriageway and footway of Ederline Avenue will be closed outside No. 88.
b) Parking will be suspended and temporary waiting restrictions will apply "at any time'' outside Nos. 84 to 90 and Nos. 67 to 73 Ederline Avenue.
3. During the closure the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as shown below. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.
? Via Dalmeny Avenue, Melrose Avenue, Dunbar Avenue, Ederline Avenue and reversed.
? Via Dalmeny Avenue, Dunbar Avenue, Ederline Avenue and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 15 August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

Semley Road. Norbury Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate pipe repair works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Semley Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Semley Road will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Semley Place.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
? Westbound - via London Road, Stanford Road and Bavant Road or via London Road and Tylecroft Road.
? Eastbound - via Bavant Road and Stanford Road or via Bavant Road and Tylecroft Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 17 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Woburn Avenue, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Woburn Avenue will be closed between its junction with High Street, Purley, and the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Woburn Avenue.
b) The taxi stand in Woburn Avenue, adjacent to the junction with High Street, Purley, will be suspended.
3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
4. The Order will come into operation on 16 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

Beulah Crescent And Osborne Road. Thornton Heath Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water service pipe works on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Beulah Crescent and Osborne Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Beulah Crescent will be closed to vehicular traffic for approximately 10 metres either side of its junction with Osborne Road;
(b) Osborne Road will be closed to vehicular Traffic between its junction with Beulah Crescent and the south-eastern flank wall of the Beulah Family Church, Beulah Crescent;
(c) The footways of the above roads will be closed as necessary.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
? Via Northwood Road, Penrith Road, Burlington Road and Beulah Crescent;
? Via Beulah Crescent, Burlington Road, Penrith Road, Northwood Road and Osborne Road;
? Via Beulah Crescent, Beulah Road, Bensham Grove, Northwood Road, Osborne Road and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 30 August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of UKPN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Homefield Road, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Homefield Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Taunton Lane and Waddington Avenue.
b) The western footway of Homefield Road will be closed to pedestrians between its junctions with Taunton Lane and Waddington Avenue.
3. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Taunton Lane, Coulsdon Road, Waddington Avenue and vice versa, as appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 30 August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit Traffic in Leander Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the carriageway and the southeastern footway of Leander Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 83 and 85 and Nos. 91 and 93 Leander Road.
3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Goldwell Road, Headcorn Road, Silverleigh Road and reversed, or via Goldwell Road, Redford Avenue, Fairlands Avenue, Blakemore Road, Silverleigh Road and reversed. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on 30 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
