Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Back Fairbank Road, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Back Fairbank Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Fairbank Road from a point outside the rear of No. 48 Back Fairbank Road to a point outside the rear of No. 120 Back Fairbank Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Fairbank Road East (unaffected section), Back Fairbank Terrace, Fairbank Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 22nd August 2022 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 9th September 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
