The Barnet (Off-Street Parking Places) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2022 The Barnet (Free Parking Places, Loading Places, Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.195) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have Made on the 11th August 2022 the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 30, 32, 35 and 124 of and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. Old Courthouse Recreation Ground
In order to effectively manage the car park situated in Old Courthouse Recreation Ground, Manor Close EN5 the general effect of the Off-Street Order will be to introduce parking restrictions and charges in the car park as follows:
Between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm, Mondays to Saturdays, the car park will be subject to the following tariff which will be payable via the Council's telephone payment system, via credit/debit card pay and display machine, at Paypoint outlets, or through the use of parking vouchers obtainable from the Council:
Up to 30 minutes: Free of charge
Up to 1 hour: £1.05
Up to 2 hours: £1.55
Up to 3 hours: £2.05
(Maximum stay 3 hours) West Hendon Playing Fields
In order to improve parking facilities for patrons of West Hendon Playing Fields, Goldsmith Avenue NW9, the Off-Street Order will designate the larger car park as a public car park and introduce parking restrictions and charges applicable to it as follows:
Between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm, Mondays to Saturdays, the car
park will be subject to the following tariff which will be payable via the
Council's telephone payment system, via credit/debit card pay and display
machine, at Paypoint outlets, or through the use of parking vouchers
obtainable from the Council:
Up to 2 hours: Free of charge
Up to 3 hours: £2.05
Up to 4 hours: £3.10
Over 4 hours: £6.20
Business permits will be eligible in the car park, and the addresses outlined below will be eligible to purchase business permits which will enable motorists to park their vehicle without limitation during the controlled period:

In addition, in order to deter obstructive parking and improve the flow of traffic using the car park, the Free Parking Places Order will introduce at any time' waiting restrictions of both sides of the access road into the park from Goldsmith Avenue NW9. Scratchwood Open Space
In order to effectively manage the car park situated in in Scratchwood Open Space, Barnet Way NW7 the general effect of the Order will be to designate this is a public car park and introduce parking restrictions and charges in the car park as follows:
At all times, (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) the car park will be subject to the following tariff which will be payable via the Council's telephone payment system, via credit/debit card pay and display machine, at Paypoint outlets, or through the use of parking vouchers obtainable from the Council:
Up to 1 hour: £0.50
Up to 2 hours: £1.00
Up to 3 hours: £2.00
Up to 4 hours: £3.00
Over 4 hours: £6.00
The charges for the car parks outlined above will not apply to groups, organisations and clubs involved in recognised activities contained within the parks/open space. These groups will be issued with dispensations/ permits to indicate their eligibility to park in the car parks during their controlled periods.
Disabled badge holders will be permitted to park in the car parks free of charge.
A copy of the proposed Orders and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing

A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on Thursday 11th August 2022 and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@
or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
