Temporary 40mph Speed Limit, B3351 Studland Road, Corfe Castle
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. A temporary 40mph speed limit will be imposed on B3351 Studland Road, Corfe Castle from outside Lucayan Cottage, Studland Road to outside Keepers Cottage, Studland Road, a distance of approximately 730 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5 September 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 September 2022.
This Order will restrict vehicle speeds when passing Wessex Water's works site to enable them to replace a water main.

Temporary Closure of B3351 Studland Road, Corfe Castle
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along B3351 Studland Road, Corfe Castle from the junction with the A351 to the entrance to Dorset Adventure Park (in both directions), a distance of approximately 400 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 31 October 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 December 2022, running in conjunction with the Studland Ferry Refurbishment works.
This Order will enable Wessex Water safe access to install a new water main. An alternative vehicular route will be signed for traffic on the southern side of the closure using A351, Shore Road, Ulwell Road and B3351 and for traffic on the northern side of the closure, the alternative vehicular route will be signed via B3351, Ulwell Road, Redcliffe Road, Ulwell Road, Shore Road and A351. Temporary Closure of Meadus Lane, Corfe Castle
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Meadus Lane, Corfe Castle from the junction with B3351 Studland Road to a point approximately 130 metres to the north (in both directions). The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5 September 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 September 2022 This Order will provide Wessex Water with safe access to replace a water main. An alternative vehicular route will be signed using Meadus Lane, Bushey Lane, Chapel Lane, B3351 and vice versa.
