1990 Proposed Modifications To The Project Subject To Appeal And Update Of The Environmental Statement

Following the general approach to publicity and consultation on planning applications in the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015; and Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017

BRAMLEY SOLAR LTD (the planning applicant/appellant) gives notice as follows Proposed development at: Site at Minchens Lane, Bramley, Hampshire Description of development: Installation of a renewable energy led generating station, comprising ground-mounted photovoltaic solar arrays, battery-based electricity storage containers together with substation, inverter/ transformer stations, site accesses, internal access tracks, security measures, access gates, other ancillary infrastructure, landscaping biodiversity enhancements including a Forest School, associated car parking and Nature Area. Proposed modification: to plans and information forming part of the project subject to Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council's above mentioned refusal of planning permission and now subject to appeal as follows: New plans and documents show (1) minor amendments to the proposed site layout and landscaping proposals and (2) deletion of the previously proposed Forest School and incorporation of its area within an enlarged Nature Area. The Description of Development is proposed to be modified from that detailed above to become: Installation of a renewable energy led generating station, comprising ground-mounted photovoltaic solar arrays, battery-based electricity storage containers together with substation, inverter/ transformer stations, site accesses, internal access tracks, security measures, access gates, other ancillary infrastructure, landscaping biodiversity enhancements including a Nature Area. Addendum to the Environmental Statement: this is a document to be read alongside the existing Environmental Statement (available for view at https://planning.basingstoke.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=QKTOR3CRH7B00 ).

The plans and documents referred to above may be viewed at www.bramleyfrithsolarfarm.co.uk Members of the public may inspect the same plans and documents at the Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council Planning Department, Civic Centre, London Road, Basingstoke, RG21 4AH. Please do not address representations to this address - see below. Comments on the plans and documents will be taken into account by the Planning Inspectorate in determination of the Appeal and should be email to bramleyfrithconsultation@ensoenergy.co.uk or posted to Bramley Frith Solar Farm Consultation, Enso Energy, The Priory, Dursley, Gloucestershire, GL11 4HR By 30 September 2022 Persons wishing to receive paper or electronic copies of the plans and documents may request them by email or post to the above addresses.

A payment of £15 will be requested to cover costs of printing and posting the Environmental Statement Addendum document. Comments received by email and post will be forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and copied to Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council as Local Planning Authority.
