The County Council of Durham (Catchwell Road, Dipton, Stanley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 120 metres of Catchwell Road, Dipton, Stanley, from the junction with Cooperative Terrace, to the properties at West View to enable water supply renewal works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, access will be available for residents and emergency services. The maximum duration of the Order Is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 30/8/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 4 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
