(Houghall Farm Lane, Houghall, Durham) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 5/8/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 710 metre length of Houghall Farm Lane that extends south westerly from the restaurant car park, Houghall to enable removal of redundant street lighting columns works to be undertaken.

There is no signed alternative route for vehiculartraffic but emergency access will be available should the need arise. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 16/8/22 from 5am to noon daily and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
